Colorbreak
The short version
Colorbreak collects nothing. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no crash reporting and no identifier of any kind. There is no server of ours for any of it to go to. The game does not ask who you are, and it would have nowhere to send the answer.
What is stored, and where
One settings file, on your own phone. It holds:
- which level you have reached, and the stars on each
- your hint credit balance and the date of the last free grant
- your streak — the run of days you cleared a level on
- the level you were in the middle of, so a phone call does not cost you an attempt
- six switches: dark theme, letters on pieces, sound, haptics, reduce motion, high contrast
That file never leaves the device. It is not backed up online and it does not sync, so a new phone starts at level one — and uninstalling the game deletes it for good.
Advertising
This version of the game contains no advertising and no advertising SDK. Nothing in it talks to an ad network, and no company is sent anything about you.
A future version will add exactly one optional rewarded video, reached only from the hint sheet and never shown uninvited — no banner, no ad between levels, no ad on launch, no ad after a loss. When that version ships, this page is replaced first, with one that names the ad provider, says what it collects, and says how to opt out.
Permissions
One: internet access, declared for the advertising described above. Nothing in the game as it is built today uses it. The game asks for nothing else — no camera, location, contacts, files, microphone or notifications.
Children
Colorbreak is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects nothing from anyone, nothing above changes with age.
Changes to this policy
If what the game collects, or which other companies are involved, ever changes, this page changes with it — before that build is published, not after. The date at the top is the date of the last change.
